U.S. adults who practice dumpster diving by community type 2017
This statistic shows the results of a survey among Americans in 2017 in regards to the practice of dumpster diving, with a breakdown by type of community. As of March 2017, some 71 percent of respondents living in rural communities stated that dumpster diving was not an option for them. The practice of dumpster diving involves searching through trash or garbage to look for something useful.
