This statistic shows the share of international students at research universities in the Netherlands from 2006 to 2021. Between 2006 and 2021, the share of international students studying at research universities in the Netherlands increased year on year. In 2006, just 6.1 percent of students at research universities in the Netherlands were international, whereas as of 2021, approximately 23.5 percent of the students in the Netherlands studying at research universities were international students.
