Share of trips taken by Italians 2018, by type of accommodation booking
In 2018, almost half of all trips taken by Italians were taken without a previous accommodation booking. According to the data, they accounted for approximately 46 percent of all trips. On the other hand, the accommodation was booked through a travel agency for roughly 10 percent of trips.
