In 2020, more than three million undergraduate students in Brazil were enrolled in distance learning programs. That represents an increase of over one percent in comparison to the distance education students observed only two years before. Meanwhile, the number of students enrolled in on-site programs in Brazil reached approximately 5.57 million in 2020, following the negative trend experienced since 2015. That is around 2.14 percent less than the 6.53 million students recorded a year earlier.
