Share of individuals who wear spectacles in selected European countries 2017 This statistic displays the proportion of individuals who wear eye spectacles in selected European countries in 2017. In this year, Slovakia had the highest proportion of individuals wearing eyeglasses with approximately 85 percent doing so. This was followed by Serbia at 70 percent and the United Kingdom at 68 percent. The average percentage of individuals in Europe wearing spectacles was 48.34 percent.
