Percentage change in GDP in Italy 2018, by region

Between 2011 and 2017, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Italy grew in terms of volume by 0.77 percent. The Italian region registering the highest annual growth was Marche, in the Center, with an increase by 3.05 percent. The Southern region of Abruzzo followed in the ranking with 2.22 percent. On the contrary, the South Italian region of Calabria recorded the largest decrease. In 2018, the GDP in Calabria dropped by 0.81 percent compared to the previous year.
