Public health expenditure per capita in Spain 2011-2021
In 2021, public health expenditure per capita amounted to approximately 1,858 euros in Spain, up from around 1,766 euros reported a year earlier. Public spending on health per person showed an uptrend from 2013 in the European country after reaching 1,320 euros, the lowest value observed in the period. Moreover, the Basque Country was the autonomous community with the highest per capita expenditure on public healthcare that year.
