ASML’s revenue increased steadily between 2014 and 2018. In 2014 the net revenue amounted to approximately 5.86 billion euros, whereas in 2018 it inclined to roughly 10.95 billion euros. Similar results are seen for the total net system sales by end-use. ASML sold their services to customer groups manufacturing logic chips (process information in electronic devices) for a total of 3.713 billion euros. Customers groups who are concerned with memory chips (that stores large amounts of data in a very small area) bought the services of ASML for approximately 4.5 billion euros.

Importance of Asian market

Of the total sales revenue of ASML, the largest part was generated from the Asian market, approximately 8.3 billion euros, whereas ASML generated 2.6 billion euros in the United States and Europe together.
