This statistic shows the most voted presidential candidates during the general elections held in Costa Rica on February 4, 2018. Fabricio Alvarado Muñoz, candidate of the National Restoration Party (Partido Restauración Nacional) received more than 24.9 percent of votes, followed by Carlos Alvarado Quesada of the Citizens' Action Party (Partido Acción Ciudadana) with nearly 21.7 percent of all valid votes cast. A runoff election will be held on April 1st, 2018 to elect the new Costa Rican president among these two candidates.
