This statistic gives information on the share of women holding Chair of the Board (COB) positions in companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in Italy from 2013 to 2017. Over the period of consideration, the proportion of women holding the most powerful position on the board of directors experienced a gradual increase. By the end of 2017, women hold about ten percent of the COB positions at the 227 Italian companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
