AIDS cases in Peru 2021, by age & gender
In 2021, Peru reported a total of 542 cases of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) among women aged between 25 and 49 years old, while 100 men of that same age group were diagnosed with the disease. A year prior, the South American country recorded 522 AIDS cases, of which 402 corresponded to men while 120 AIDS cases were women.
