Electricity household penetration in Peru 2009-2021, by area
In 2021, nearly 99 percent of households in urban areas of Peru were connected to the public electricity network, up from 97.5 percent of households in 2009. Meanwhile, the public electricity penetration rate in rural areas increased from 55.1 to 83.6 percent in the same period.
