As of December 2022, the unemployment rate in Grudziadz was 9.9 percent, the highest unemployment rate among Polish cities. Przemyśl followed it at 9.4 percent. The lowest unemployment was in Poznań. The total unemployment rate in Poland amounted to 5.2 percent in 2022.

Job interviews in Poland

According to data from 2021, for more than half of the respondents, the most challenging question during a job interview in Poland was about a former boss’s opinion of a candidate, followed by where respondents see themselves in the future. On the other hand, in the same year, more than one out of three job candidates heard a recruiter ask them to say a few words about themselves. Level of unemployment in Poland

In the fourth quarter of 2021, Poland's highest number of unemployed persons was between 25 to 34 years old, which was nearly 231 thousand. However, the average period of active job search by unemployed Poles was more than eight months in the fourth quarter of 2021.
