Installed solar photovoltaic capacity in Italy 2022, by region
In 2022, Apulia had the largest solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity in Italy, at over three gigawatts. This region was closely followed by Lombardy, which had an installed capacity of almost three gigawatts. Lombardy also was the first region for number of solar power plant in Italy. The total solar PV capacity installed in Italy was 24 gigawatts.
