Outbound tourism expenditure in Latin America

In 2019, Latin American and Caribbean tourists traveling to other countries spent roughly 76 billion U.S. dollars. This figure represents a slight decrease of around five million U.S. dollars in comparison to the previous year. In the past decade, outbound tourism expenditure in the Latin America and Caribbean region grew by more than 40 percent, despite some major fluctuations.
