In fiscal year 2023, the value of private final consumption expenditure (PFCE) as a part of GDP at current prices in India was estimated to be around 163 trillion Indian rupees, an increase from the previous year. An overall monumental rise in the value of PFCE was seen over the years from financial year 2012 in the country.
