This statistic displays the results of a survey conducted in Finland on women's perceptions of the current status of gender equality in the Finnish society on selected years from 1998 to 2017. In 2017, 20 percent of women were in the opinion that men and women were equal. However, according to the survey, two thirds of the female respondents thought that men had somewhat better status in society in 2017.
