Mexico: new cases of HIV/AIDS 2014-2019
In 2019, Mexico notified more than 9.8 thousand new cases of HIV, and 5,825 new cases of AIDS. This shows a decrease in comparison to the previous year when new cases of HIV in the country totaled more than 10.7 thousand and nearly 6.4 thousand new AIDS cases were reported. The abbreviations stand for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).
