Health spending in Jamaica as share of GDP 2010-2020
In 2020, spending on health represented approximately 6.61 percent of Jamaica's gross domestic product (GDP), up from 6.1 percent reported a year earlier. At the beginning of the decade, health spending in the Caribbean country was around 5.3 percent of its GDP. That same year, Cuba had the highest health expenditure as a share of its GDP in Latin America and the Caribbean, reaching around 12.5 percent.
