This statistic displays the number of schools in London that exceeded the nitrogen dioxide (NO2) annual mean UK Air Quality Strategy objective of 40 µg/m3 in 2016. Of the 1,815 primary schools recorded in this study, 369 exceeded 40 µg/m3 according to the London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory. This amounted to approximately 20 percent.
