CO2 manufacturing industry emissions in the European Union (EU-28) 1990-2017

This statistic displays the carbon dioxide emissions from the manufacturing industries and construction in selected countries in the European Union in 1990 and 2017. Germany was clearly the biggest emitter of CO2 emissions in this sector, despite reducing emissions since 1990 from 185,108 kilotons to 134,353. The UK, Italy and France were the next biggest contributors to emissions at approximately 50,000 kilotons of CO2 each.
