A study of water utilities' preparedness to meet supply challenges to 2030

This report published in 2012 investigates the preparedness of utilities to supply water to the current global population of over seven billion people which is expected to increase to eight billion by 2030. The study is based on an online survey of 244 executives of water utilities in the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Brazil, Russia, India, China and the United Kingdom, supplemented by in-depth interviews with 20 water utility executives and independent experts.
