While Women Prefer Texting, Men Rather Like to Talk
Communication
When it comes to communication, text messages, emails and their like are the preferred way of getting in touch, the latest survey by Morning Consult found. 50 percent of adults polled by the research firm said they favour text over other ways of conversation.
As our graphic further illustrates, however, texting is especially preferred by women (62 percent) while their male counterparts (45 percent) are more likely to talk. Overall, video correspondence was not prominent among both sexes.
