Value of PE/VC deals in hyperlocal sector India 2021, by company
In 2021, Indian food delivery company Swiggy received private equity and venture capital investments worth around 1.2 billion U.S. dollars in two rounds of funding. Its main competitor, Zomato, followed with 569 million dollars. In the previous year, Zomato had secured likewise high deals as well, whereas Swiggy reported a lower value of investments.
