Lung transplants in Colombia 2021, by region
As of June 2021, the number of lung transplants performed in Colombia amounted to nine procedures, from which over half were done in Antioquia. Meanwhile, the remaining lung transplants were conducted in Bogota and Valle del Cauca, with two lung interventions in each region. During the first half of 2021, Bogotá hosted the majority of Colombia's liver transplants .
