Cafe Coffee Day, popularly known as CCD, was set up in 1996 at Brigade Road, Bangalore, Karnataka. The location was situated ideally amidst the busiest and biggest shopping areas of the southern city, making it a frequented and therefore, a success. While Cafe Coffee Day grew to expand across the country, the state of Maharashtra had the highest number of Cafe Coffee Day outlets.
