Honduras: undernourishment prevalence 2004-2018

The share of population in Honduras whose habitual food intake is insufficient to maintain an active and healthy life was estimated at 12.9 percent between 2016 and 2018. Comparing the three-year averages between 2004 to 2006 and 2016 to 2018, the country has shown significant signs of improvement, with a decrease of over four percentage points in the prevalence of undernourishment.
