Market share of cookers in the Netherlands 2013-2019, by type
Between 2013 and 2019, the development in the market share of electrical and gas cookers indicate that the purchase preference of Dutch households shifted from gas cookers towards electrical alternatives. In 2013, the market share of gas cookers was roughly 15 percent higher than that of induction, halogen and ceramic cookers. By 2019, this had changed considerably, as electrical cookers held a market share 82 percent.
