Natural gas consumption breakdown in Spain 2022, by sector
In 2022, the industrial sector was the one with the highest share of natural gas consumption in Spain, accounting for almost 45 of the natural gas consumption in the country. The electricity sector ranked second that year, representing nearly 38 percent of Spain's consumption of natural gas. By contrast, LNG trucks accounted for only 2.9 percent of the total consumption in 2022.
