In 2018, a total of around 27.4 million people in Mexico were considered neither poor nor vulnerable, of which approximately 800 thousand were citizens with an indigenous background. Among the non-indigenous population, 26.5 million were considered neither poor nor vulnerable.

In addition, it includes people who said they spoke an indigenous language and who were not part of these households.
