Inflation-indexed 10-year treasury yield in the U.S. 2016-2020

The United States Treasury's 10-year bond yield was -1.06 percent in the third quarter of 2020. This rate was adjusted to reflect a constant maturity and also indexed to inflation, giving an idea of real returns for longer-term investments. The recent expected return was highest at the end of 2018, just shy of one percent.
