Largest crude oil producers in Brazil 2021, by volume
Petrobras was by far the leading crude oil producer in Brazil in 2021, based on volume. That year, the Brazilian state-owned company's output amounted to nearly 991 million barrels, accounting for the vast majority of Brazil's crude oil production. By comparison, the subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell ranked third, with a production of some 11.8 million barrels.
