Distribution of design agencies in the Netherlands 2019, by client
As of 2019, agencies, start-ups and self-employed designers in the Netherlands tended to make most turnover from clients in the business and financial services sector. 21 percent of the turnover of design businesses came from clients in this branch in 2019, while a further 17 percent of the turnover came from clients in the industry and construction sector.
