In a survey conducted in 2019 in New Zealand, regarding the amount of trust respondents had in the police force in New Zealand, almost 50 percent of the female respondents stated that they trusted the police completely, this was slightly higher than the male respondents. Just under six percent of female respondents stated that they did not have any trust in the police force in New Zealand. The police force in New Zealand must adhere to a strict code of conduct which ensures they remain professional and ethical in all situations.
