U.S. adults' sympathy for undocumented immigrants by party 2018
According to a 2018 survey, Democrats are considerably more sympathetic to undocumented immigrants, with 82 percent of respondents identifying as conservative or moderate Democrats expressing sympathy for those living in the United States illegally. This compares to 45 percent of conservative Republicans.
