In 2019, consumers who belonged to a high income bracket (with over 80 thousand U.S. dollars of income) made up the largest share of Popeyes' customers in the United States, accounting for 38 percent of the respondents. In contrast, 29 percent of respondents who belonged to a middle income bracket (meaning those who earned between 40 to 80 thousand U.S. dollars) were consumers at the chicken restaurant chain.
