Belgium: influenza vaccination coverage by gender 2018

The annual flu shot is designed to protect against strains of human influenza that the experts expect to be in circulation. In 2018, the influenza vaccination coverage in Belgium was slightly higher in men than in women. Although the share of respondents suggest otherwise, once the results are weighted to represent the entire Belgian population, roughly 27 percent of men received a flu shot, compared to 25,5 percent of women.
