Change in non-food sector consumption value in Italy 2018, by category

Between 2017 and 2018, the consumption value of non-food consumer goods in Italy decreased overall. When analyzing the consumption categories more in detail, it can be seen that clothing and footwear was the category which experienced the most negative trend in Italy, decreasing by 3.3 percent in 2018. By contrast, the category whose consumption value grew the most from 2017 to 2018 was edutainment, as it increased by 5.7 percent.
