LATAM Airlines: fuel consumption 2016-2020
In 2020, LATAM Airlines consumed less than half of the fuel gallons reached in 2019. This drop is strongly related to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on aviation operations. That year, the amount of wasted disposed by the airline also plummeted to roughly 6.6 thousand metric tons.
