Length of stay of inbound and domestic tourists visiting Utrecht 2017-2018
In 2017 and 2018, a large share of domestic tourists stayed no longer than 12 hours in Utrecht. Approximately 90 percent of the respondents from the Netherlands indicated to stay between two and 12 hours in Utrecht, whereas just over 50 percent of the visitors from abroad mentioned to stay for multiple days in the fourth largest city of the Netherlands.
