Baedal Minjok food delivery app Android user distribution South Korea 2020
As of September 2020, around 16.6 percent of users of the delivery app Baedal Minjok, also known as Baemin, were women in their fourties. That time, the app was largest and most used food delivery application in South Korea. In December 2019, Woowa Brothers, the owner of the company, signed a four billion U.S. dollar deal to sell the application to the Berlin-based company Delivery Hero, which already owns the application's biggest competitor Yogiyo.
