Supplementary notes

The Global Health Security (GHS) Index is based on 140 questions, distributed among these six categories: prevention, detection and reporting, rapid response, health system, compliance with international norms, and risk environment. According to the source "(t)he categories and indicators included in the GHS Index assess country capability to prevent, detect, and respond to biological threats as well as factors that can hinder or enhance that capability. The scale of the scoring is 0 to 100, where 100 = best."
