Retail volume of LNG received in Europe by country 2021
Spain loaded the greatest volumes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Europe in 2021. That year, roughly 2,257 thousand cubic meters of the received LNG was loaded onto trucks, with an additional 182,736 cubic meters of small-scale cargoes received. Spain is also the country with the greatest number of operational LNG import terminals in Europe.
