Number of LNG export terminals in Europe and North Africa by country 2022
Algeria has the greatest number of operational liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminals of any European or North African country as of April 2022. That year, it had four such facilities. Apart from Algeria, Egypt, Russia, and Norway were the only other countries on the European or North African continent that offered LNG exports via terminals. Russia has an additional three export terminals under construction. By comparison, the number of European countries with import terminals was significantly larger.
