Number of business insolvencies in Australia 2014-2021
The annual number of business insolvencies in Australia has declined heavily compared to the year before, with only 4,235 companies entering external receivership during the 2020/21 financial year. This compares to 9,848 companies entering external receivership during the 2015/16 financial year, which is more than half the amount of businesses.
