Companies that went bankrupt due to COVID-19 outbreak in Poland 2019-2020

The number of economic entities' bankruptcies in the first quarter of 2020 amounted to 142, an 8.4 percent decrease compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. A decline in the number of bankruptcies in Poland was noted in trade, including car repair, industry, and construction. An increase in the number of bankruptcies was noted in accommodation and catering, services, transport and storage, and information and communication.
