Poland: sold production of industry 2022

In March 2020, industry's sold production was 2.3 percent lower than in March 2019. After eliminating the impact of seasonal factors in Poland, the drop in production in March was even higher and amounted to 4.8 percent year-on-year. In most of the leading industrial groups, a decrease in production was recorded in March on an annual basis. The output of cars fell by 29 percent, and pharmaceuticals increased by 40 percent. In April, the industry's sold production was 24.6 percent lower than in April 2019. In comparison with March 2020, it decreased by 25.5 percent. In December 2022, industrial output sold was one percent higher than last year when it increased by 16.7 percent year-on-year. In the period from January to December 2021, the sold production increased by 10.2 percent y/y.
