COVID-19: importance of cases declining before children play organized sport 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic that spread across the world at the beginning of 2020 was not only a big threat to public health, but also to the entire youth and amateur sports industry. During a May 2020 survey in the United States, some 62 percent of respondents stated that it was very important that confirmed coronavirus cases in their local area declined before their children competed in organized sport again.
