This statistic displays the breakdown of insurance for high-tech devices in France as of November 2019, by type of high-tech product. At that time, 41 percent of the respondents had subscribed to theft insurance and 48 percent had breakage insurance for their smartphone. In contrast, 9 percent of respondents had theft insurance and 10 percent had breakage insurance for their connected watch.
