Latin America: penetration rate of ventilators 2019

In 2019, hospitals in Brazil registered more than 25 ventilators per 100,000 inhabitants. This compared with only 5.12 ventilators per 100,0000 population in Peru. As of May 19, 2020, this two nations were among the most affected countries by the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak in Latin America.
